BOUFFE serves up a hearty feast, laced with clownesque, preposterously enhanced with grotesquerie and, above all, prepared with the urgency of an empty stomach.
Chefs Bazil and Mortadel are both endearing and repulsive, naive and grating, charming and twisted. They treat food as it should be treated: with guts. They offer a menu where the audience is literally the main component. From one service to the next, spectators are confronted with their own preconceptions, desires, pleasures, ambivalences and horrors... and they can't help but laugh!
