A bilingual, off-the-wall, out-of-the-box science-fiction show.

“I made you.”

What parent hasn't thought or said that strange, almost horrifying, even pretentious phrase? What are the forces that unite or tear apart a creator and its creature? Are we really masters of our own bodies? A modern, multidisciplinary work, GOLEM is a science-fiction theatrical performance presented in an unlikely corner of the city. Three actors/dancers, accompanied by an eerie quartet of classical musicians, tell us a fable worthy of Frankenstein's monster.

Interweaving ancestral and contemporary themes, GOLEM adds to the questions of legacy, conception and manipulation those of artificial intelligence, the cybernetic human, and evolution. Straddling the line between the flashy unveiling of a new smartphone and the strange ritual of a secret society, GOLEM is an exploration of a possible future that seems increasingly inevitable.
