Summer 2020. An artist dad whose projects have been canceled and his six-year-old daughter embark on a road trip that takes them from southeastern New Brunswick to the Laurentian mountains.

As he makes his way along the road, the father realizes that being a parent means being in constant dialogue with the child he once was. The journey then becomes an exploration of the territory we carry within us, an incursion into the terrain of the most difficult mourning.

This theatrical tale, embodied by its author and actor, Marc- André Charron, unfolds to the mesmerizing live music of Maggie Savoie and Sylvie Boulianne, two dazzling Acadian musicians originally from northwestern New Brunswick and southwestern Nova Scotia, respectively. The pair have composed a range of new, original pieces that serve as both background textures and musical interludes. Charron, accompanied by the gentle, ethereal music of his companions, takes on the role of the daddy, the daughter, the girlfriend, the mother as well as a myriad of other roles.
